For The Love of Jesus

August 19th 2010 - Port Richey, Fla.

Michael Watts was unemployed and broke, but kept coming home to his grandmother’s house with new tattoos. Coincidentally, jewelry began disappearing from grandma’s jewelry box at about the same time.

When first confronted by his grandmother about the missing gold and diamonds, Michael denied everything, but after a call to the Pasco County Sheriff’s office and the ensuing interrogation, Mr. Watts cracked and spilled the beans.

The jewelry valued at over $3400, including gold bracelets, a 1/2 caret diamond ring, and earrings was hocked at a local mall to pay for the tattoos.

The three tattoos were of a Christian fish, on his left ankle, a colorful “Jesus Saves” on his right forearm, and an outline of Jesus on his left forearm with the words “There is a light that never goes out”.

Watts, 2o, was charged with grand theft and resides in his new home at the local jail in lieu of $2000 bail. No word if granny ponied up the two grand to set James free.
